Few things that I really want to say before I go to bed:
Taufiq, it's been yet another awesome 1 month with you, and I'm really glad that we had some really fantastic times with you here. The day you flew back - we spent watching Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, and it seemed like it happened just yesterday! But yeah, cliche as it is, time does fly, and the next time you are back, we'll probably be starting poly - but we'll still meet up, have stupid chats that actually holding meaning, and have loads of fun together again alright?
Also, thanks Lai Han for the 'party' today! I love Chinese New Year. Thanks Chong Aik and Wei Jun for contributing to the fun. It was awesome. Plus, Yi Hui, we missed yaaa! Should never, EVER, miss out on any gatherings anymore. Way too much fun. We played with the Phang siblings' new Wii console, sang songs, ate...
Taufiq and Lai Han! Cutest people in the world.
Taufiq and I boxing. As in, really playing boxing! Hahaha! I was darn excited ok. I've never played with a Wii console before. I won a boxing and Tennis match! I suggest Lai Han gives it to me for safekeeping until after her A's.
Wii Videos (With much thanks to Facebook, cos YouTube failed Taufiq.) that were somehow recorded. Gah, looking like some idiots.
Chong Aik and Lai Han in a boxing match too.
Taufiq and myself!
Took a shitload of Photobooth pictures! The others were downstairs, hooked on the consoles.
Plainly acting cute (Or attempting to).
Then we also moved on to watching Beyonce shake her thang in her live performance of Single Ladies, with Taufiq and Chong Aik imitating her. We then progessed to watching models on YouTube fall down as they strut down the runway HAHAHA. Superbly funny, and when I saw my friends' expressions, I laughed even harder.
Laughter, contagious disease.
When we went downstairs after all our screeching (I kept wondering if we were bothering Lai Han's parents!), my boyfriend and Wei Jun were still like glued on the PS3.
I gave Taufiq his present of a packet of photos that we've taken (We as in, us glorious friends!) over the time he's spent here last and this year as we were leaving. Stupid red ink from my sister's marker got smudged on some of them though. -.- Shit pen.
We're gonna be sending him off tomorrow after Mr Neo's house visit. I plan to cab down with KT so we can lunch together. Like, very self-sacrificially spending money on a cab. Oi, I'm currently saving up to buy a lot of things, ok?
Btw, all pictures from Taufiq's camera except for the Photobooth ones! From Lai Han's iMac.
Last but definitely, definitely not the least.
He whom I assumed was busy working his ass off all day today and didn't pick up my calls till I was on my way with the guys to Lai Han's place made me find out that he actually went all the way to Orchard's Cineleisure to buy Famous Amos cookies for me because I felt like having them - and he didn't know where the other outlets were. So it's like:
Bus to Eunos MRT --> Eunos to Cityhall --> Cityhall to Somerset --> Somerset to Dhoby Ghaut --> Dhoby Ghaut to Kovan --> Kovan, board 112 --> walk to Lai Han's place.
Yesterday, when I wanted to buy cookies, he gave me this look, cos I was still having a sore throat. But I think he caved in - bought the big packet one ok!!!!!!!!! Or maybe he just wants me fat. :P
But I'm very, very, very touched. I love you. Loads. Thank you, for everything you've done for me. I know I was being very irritating by adding the word 'cookie' abruptly into our messages, but you're the only one who can stand such nonsense, I know.
(:
Gonna make it through, together.
Hello, world.

News flash: Jonathan Toh is in CMM with me. Hahah! Born to work in the same place together, in board and future poly course.
That's my JPSAE result. For JAE, I've been posted to, guess what? Serangoon Junior College.
Eh but hello, I've an offer from a poly and a JC! What's not to be happy about?!
Thank you, world. HAHA. And of course I'm accepting the poly offer, or should I just go to SRJC?
Oh btw, I've sold off the iPod already. Chong Aik and I are gonna get the classic now. :D
Happy things
@ 2:04 AM
Many, many happyyyyy things!
But right now, I'm still nursing a sore throat due to the aftermath of Chinese New Year - and also, countless attempts at recording Nobody by Wonder Girls. I didn't save any, bad throat what! Hahah.
Ok, so I will pray like crazy for the next few hours that I will get the posting I want. Then I can enjoy the rest of my holidays in peace! No more fretting over results/posting.
Went to bai nian at KT's place today, waited for a few hours before his mum came back from shopping. Anyway, his mum gave me a pretty pink angbao and also boiled 2 kinds of herbal tea for me and my pathetic throat. One ginseng tea and another black one. Not the luohan guo one though. All that Chinese medicine-y stuff doesn't taste amazing but still - Blessed or not!?
I'm gonna call him at 7.30AM if I can wake up.
Still have some decisions to make. Some ass to kick. The rest of the week is gonna be packed, I can only imagine. Plus, Feb is coming! I've got a lot of things to do before March rolls around.
Also, I dug out my old day planner. Threw out all the old post-its but kept some for keepsakes.
Am gonna start being organised again! But no, I'm not like Jane in New York Minute who even notes down the time for toilet trips.
Oh also, I have found a buyer for Chong Aik's Nano already. Efficient or what?
I have a splitting headache now, and my throat hurts like !$^!^%@#. I think it is due to all the late nights and crazy amount of 'heaty' food. The funny thing is that there is no such thing as heaty ok, but that word somehow explains why my throat is like that right now. Scratchy and irritating.
That aside, I think I've collected quite a lot of angbaos so I'm very happy. But hahah, it's true y'know, that when you are a kid you somehow get more. I don't know why. Maybe it's because as everyone grows older, the hype and excitement of house visiting has toned down a lot more. Pretty sad actually, but I guess that's how it goes. I'm fortunate enough to still get a fair amount of angbaos! (I haven't actually counted the actual amount.)
Anyway, to supposedly celebrate my birthday two days ago, KT and I went to watch The Wedding Game at AMK Hub in the evening, and he wanted to surprise me with a surprise I already knew - which was this strawberry heart-shaped cake that I've always wanted to eat after eating something really yummy that looks similar to it.
I was taking good care of it throughout the movie ok! And before that too. But somehow, it still ended up looking...
Like this?
Looking gross, but it tasted ok. Hahah!
Still, I appreciate everything he's done for me. :) Even though it wasn't a huge gesture or a major surprise or anything, I know he still meant for me to be happy - and that's enough for me.
I'm gonna count my angbao money tonight! Ok, counted. Not gonna reveal, but I guess it's a bit more than last year's.
With the money, I'm hoping to get either an iPod Classic or an iPod touch, cos I've sold off mine already. Yep, it's goodbye to 2-year-old pink iPod nano, and hello to a new one! But then again, I think I should save first.
I've got the approval for _____ already. So I will start ASAP, no matter how tough, because I need the $$$. Especially because transport is gonna be a killer soon. I think you are gonna see me do alot more walking. Maybe I might even lose some kilos. :D
Anyway, Jonathan Toh, no my phone wasn't with anyone just now, I was just very distracted. Was out with people. And quit being so strange! Haha.
Went to bai nian at Chong Aik's place just now with the bestest two girls in the whole world - Yi Hui and Lai Han! Hahaha. I love his mum! (I LOVE YOUR MUM, CHONG AIK!) We all went to Takashimaya for fun after his place and she treated us to lunch at Bistro Delifrance. We even drew his future girlfriend down, which seemingly excited his mum very much.
Ugly and made even uglier by lousy cellphone camera.
Oh, and an unbelievable piece of news: I purchasd Cecelia Ahern's Thanks For the Memories a while ago but I still haven't finished reading it yet. I usually finish a book on the same day I buy it because I am a bookworm and a nerd. 8D
Ok & I'm supposed to help Chong Aik sell off his 4GB 2nd Generation iPod Nano in Glacier Blue.
No defects except for a small chip at the top, hardly noticeable. Going for SGD$100, comes in clear casing worth at least SGD$30 if I'm not wrong. But everything Chong Aik buys is expensive, so yeah.
Please contact him directly if interested. Haha! Mail to flying_by_tokyo@hotmail.com
Ok, alternatively, you can just mail me. And no Chong Aik, this is not the only method I have to help you sell it off, really. -o-
Going to KT's place to bai nian tomorrow ! Going to sleep now...or soon.
Another year.
Monday, January 26, 2009 @ 3:18 PM
Happy 17th to myself!
Thank you Ben, for being the first one to give me a present!
Thank you friends, for all the text messages and online IMs. As well as the good times at Fish & Co and Macs last week.
Thank you mummy, daddy & relatives who gave me angbaos! (Especially those who gave me double! Hahah)
And last but not least, thank you baby, for everything.
I'm enjoying myself so far, and I will be going to catch a movie tonight with KT! :) I know what he is going to buy for me later, but hahahah. At least I know it's something I like, right!
No pictures though, the camera's with my uncle. Or maybe, very lousy cellphone camera pictures? Ew.
Anyway, birthdays are so overrated - but at least it's a good excuse to act like a princess once in a while.
Happy Chinese New Year, once again!
Remembering your cheena roots
Sunday, January 25, 2009 @ 9:42 PM
So, once in a year I actually get to be reminded that deep down inside, I am a true blue Chinese girl that is to be associated with all things of the Chinese federation.
But nah, it's a great feeling, because once a year, my family and I get to huddle around our tiny kitchen table and gorge ourselves silly with the yummy things steamboat can come up with.
For the record, I love fishballs, shrimp wantons and the souuuuup!
Ok and I guess that in a way, I'm lucky (Or unlucky, depending on which way you want to see it!), since it's also my birthday tomorrow, on the first day of the Lunar New Year. I'm only praying people forsee the resession thing for a day or two when I go visiting and be utterly pleased that it's my birthday instead and give me more $$$! Hahah.
My sister being scary
But then again, I guess, there's more to red packets and yummy food, it's my favourite festive period because it's actually the only one my family bothers putting some effort into celebrating. We don't exactly celebrate anything else! I feel most indigant about it when Christmas rolls around every year, cos I actually love the whole feeling of the occasion.
But anyway, this Chinese New Year, I wish you guys all the prosperity and health in the world, and everlasting good times with your loved ones!
I hate this part

Buffet at Turf City!
Tangerines my xiao yi, sister and I lugged to the shop from Giant! We were initially picking out the good ones in packets only, then decided to buy an entire carton instead.
I'm too lazy to post every picture now, so I'll just post a few, plus the ones that Ben is in! Haha.
I just did a bit of thinking and it struck me that time is passing way too fast again. Things aren't slow enough for me to enjoy them, and I'm beginning to be afraid of what the future actually is gonna bring.
It's already the end of January. Already. I've still got so many things to think about to do, to accomplish.
My heart just doesn't feel like it's in its right place.
And that feeling sucks.
It's just one of those moments.
Some things.
Saturday, January 24, 2009 @ 1:24 AM
I'm too lazy to blog. Plus, my arms ache from doing those weight thingos.
But but but, interesting news is that I saw two of the same people from Temasek's CMM interview at Ngee Ann's Mass Comm. Hahah. Anyway, I don't think I did exceptionally well for any interview, so I'll just...keep praying to make it to Temasek or I'll appeal. Hahah.
Nonetheless, I'm extremely happy to have been given multiple opportunities. :) Lucky, in that sense. I guess!

Cos I'm basically like, a Rockstar?
Hi all,
I'm full of misfits and misgivings. I am whimisical, a big dreamer, and a sucker for all things romantic.
Currently studying in Temasek Poly, Communications & Media Management. I love good writing, have a penchant for music and clumsy dancing, good musicals and all that jazz. And I also have a soft spot for cats.
