Sweet dad + Happy Birthday to mum.
Saturday, February 28, 2009 @ 1:07 AM

Dad, 'Are you going out tomorrow?'

Me, 'Don't think so. Why?'

Dad, 'I give you money you go buy a cake for your mum ok?'

Happy Birthday Mummy!

I know you might not be the world's best mum (literally), but you are definitely good enough for me, and I love you to bits and pieces. Thank you for being nice to all my friends always, making sure I am so well fed (and fat muwahahah) and always coming into my room just to check if my windows are closed properly cos 'the air con air will escape you know'.

Anyway, because my mum and dad are so busy with packed schedules tomorrow, we will be going up the flyer on Sunday instead. I didn't know the ticket times can be changed. Sua ku enough or not?

Been spending quality time with my friends these days.

Not so much with KT, but I still feel much happier these days cos he calls me alot for nothing. And you know, somehow my mum thinks I've ditched him!
So weird. He's so cute why would I.

Alright, I'm gonna go shower. Yes, at this weird time, don't screech your head off.

Say what?
Thursday, February 26, 2009 @ 7:03 PM

I was just looking through who visits my blog through Nuffang's blog referrals and I had one of those 'Omg I can't believe I get referrals from here' moments.

No lah, not you. Unless you think it's you.

Anyway, Mediaclub just got a facelift: Click!. Looks so much neater and cleaner now.
The reality that our not-sought-after club is gonna close down after Mrs Ravi leaves Yuying this year is depressing. But we allll move on - to bigger, better and brighter things. :)

Bunch of people are coming over tomorrow to watch Barbie movies ! I am so excited. Can you guess who?

I'm going over to Hougang Point right after this post, to buy junkfood with Nitish. Oh and our ex Deputy Head has been shortlisted out of 90+ students to campaign for a spot in Innova Junior College's 5th Student Council!

I am so proud! Haha. Gonna help him think of cool campaigning ideas that Singaporean students won't laugh at and throw used green tea packets in his face.

I know a lot of ex council/board members won't attempt to join the student council in JC/poly again though.

Also, I miss hanging out with so many people - but people can't expect me to take the initiative and ask them out all the time right! Cos everytime I tell a friend, 'Eh it's been awhile since we've gone out.' They'll say I don't ask them out what.

Gotta show people what you mean to 'em too y'know.

That aside, I'm done with post-enrollment checkup, gonna consolidate all the forms and send them out to TP soon.

And! In 2 days' time, it's my mum's birthday. My dad bought us tickets up the flyer cos we are all suaku and haven't sat on it since it opened yet. So exciting!!

Alright lah, just random updates.

Ok, bye.

Yummy food + good friends
Tuesday, February 24, 2009 @ 11:39 PM

Was generally quite a simple day. I'm taking pride in the fact that I get up before 1PM these days though I sleep at numerals numbered 4 and above almost daily.

So today was spent with Chong Aik, Elisa, Jenson and Shermin. We all met on the train and Elisa brought us to Just Acia at Dhoby Xchange to eat. I've always wanted to stop by there but never had! And we (Chong Aik and I) were supposed to go there once but missed out due to own stuff.

Actually, the food tastes pretty good! And comes with ice cream + a drink of your choice. Hahaha, sounding so cheapo but we are poor going-to-poly-students who are living on fixed budgets ok!

We then walked to The Cathay > (Chong Aik leftus at this point) Plaza > (Shermin here. Dang.) Orchard > Heeren > Plaza to take train back home.

Jenson was apparently on a bag hunt but couldn't find any suitable ones. I've been looking for a new one too, but I can't make up my mind!

How I wish we could ALL just fly to a nice, pristine shopping location, buy whatever we need for the rest of the year then come back and not worry about buying and bumping into someone with the same item.

Especially if it's someone scary. *Shifty eyes*

I'm gonna catch Marley and Me next week! Because I love dog films, Jennifer Aniston, Owen Wilson, and also cause the book was fab.

Toodles! (It totally bugs me that Feb is ending and I've only a month of holiday left. Shuddup, it's very little considering we've idled away so much time ok!)

Just dropping by.
Monday, February 23, 2009 @ 12:28 PM

Happy 19th Monthsary - for everything you've done for me so far and for everything you will be doing in the future :)

I cling on to every word you say.
Sunday, February 22, 2009 @ 9:55 PM

Ok firstly, Cher Neo, I did not sleep at 7AM lah! I slept at 5AM hor. We hung up at 4AM.

Was just in a hurry to switch the desktop off so I didn't edit the blog post time and immediately hit 'Publish Post'.

And I had already turned off the lights and everything and was lying in bed when I remembered that my cellphone was still charging outside so I pretended to be half asleep and trudged out! I need my cell cos it's my alarm clock ever since my Hello Kitty one died on me. Hello Kitty not to be trusted - though my keyboard is Hello Kitty too hahahah.

I think my dad was convinced that I had gotten up to just get my phone but the next morning I heard him telling my mum, "When I woke up early to go to work she was walking around!!"

Anyway, I got up before 11AM, an incredible feat already. Was awoken briefly around 9-ish by KT telling me he was going for breakfast with his mum first, then I went back to sleep. When I finally did get up I remembered that it was going-to-the-carboot-fleamart thing and had to fly to VivoCity. Couldn't find Chong Aik at that point, but anyway he didn't miss much since the weather was damn hot.

Could barely stay in one place looking at items for more than a minute and withstand the heat.

I saw some pretty cute purses, like those handmade ones and all - but yeah didn't stay long. Plenty of new and preloved clothes, handmade accessories, new and used shoes - the usual fleamarket stuff. But don't worry Chong Aik, we can always go to the Clarke Quay ones when they roll around, those are much, much funner.

I hope The Cathay one is good.

So after like, 10 minutes, we were back at VivoCity - and had gotten tickets for He's Just Not That Into You. Ok and we bought tickets around 1PM and the movie was only around 3plus so we stayed at LJS for the entire time. I just watched him play Harvest Moon the whole way! (Cher, you better start playing again soon, it's so addictive!)

I don't know which guy in Harvest Moon to marry cos I connected my Harvest Moon from the Gameboy Advance version into my sister's DS Lite and all the bachelors from that version have trooped over to the DS' version. Cute guys galore. :B

Anyway, the movie was pretty exaggerated at parts - but still kinda realistic somehow. Since yes, it's pretty common to see girls analysing a guy's every move and word to mean whether or not he likes her.

But the guys at my age aren't old enough to hookup with random girls and then tell they'll 'call them back' and stuff. I cannot even imagine any of the guys I know doing that!

17 going on 7 boyfriend at Toys 'R' Us.

Honestly speaking, I used to really like Toys 'R' Us cos they had pretty good toys they were in GOOD condition and were actually fun. I saw more than 10 toy packagings all broken and ripped and toys having missing parts. How to buy like that?! Plus, you know how when we were younger they had a lot of toy ads on TV? Like for Barbie dolls and ponies and race cars and all that. Now they don't have 'em anymore, and the toys are all boring, of low quality etc.

And so many disgusting baby doll toys these days. Yeah those that 'Really Pee!' and 'Really Eat!' with 'Blinkable Eyes!'.

I think they are damn freaky and stupid KT kept grabbing one and playing with it and making it wave at me.

Freak.

But as much of a freak as he is, I like having a boyfriend that isn't too fun, who isn't too extreme in anything, leans towards the couch potato side, is extremely fillial and intelligent but just terribly lazy.

And I bought him Carl's Junior today cos it was virgin trip there. He didn't even want to choose his own order but we are safe, boring people so I bought 2 sets and we ate Charboiled Chicken, which is yummy enough. Imagine me eating one of those huge Portobello ones! But I applaud the people who write the descriptive burger ads, like those you see on your burger trays when you buy a meal -cos they usually make things sound so delicious - but usually overrated.

'Juicy red tomatoes and crisp lettuce!' !!?

Plus, my mum is so random. She's talking about how the trees are damn happy cos it has rained after so many days. And she was actually lamenting about how sad it was that they were all dying yesterday. -.-

I am damn sleepy now! What on earth caused this. I'm gonna go offline, fill in some forms and go play Harvest Moon and Cake Mania 2 IN MY BED!

Keeping you in mind.
Saturday, February 21, 2009 @ 7:05 AM

I'm really glad for today, cos I made time to meet up with so many girlfriends.

You know the saying, boyfriends come and go but best friends are forever? So cheesy but I like! I guess I only started treasuring properly and recently.

I woke up at an absurd time of 2PM + again today, then met Lai Han about an hour later to discuss why her GP is so lousy (You are gonna get better with time, girl. So don't worry your head off!) and talk our usual nonsense. It's great to meet her, since she always takes stress off things and makes me damn happy.

I have no idea about her GP shit anyway.

Then Yi Hui came along, she and Lai Han went for haircuts.

I think her new hairstyle suits her! Like so Jesseca Liu in the 9'o clock show right.

Was like a glutton today, cos I ate LJS while I was with Lai Han at Hougang Mall today, then after her haircut with Yi Hui we trained to Kovan and ate Pizza Hut cos I love their chicken meatballs! Haha, ended up sharing an ice cream and breadsticks as well. You know all that I-think-I'm-so-fat talk? I'm just lamenting lor cos I still eat a lot.

Met Elisa and Lynn after that! I haven't seen them for agesssssssss. And Lynn, our smarty, has such long hair now. I think it's quite unkempt but she says her school doesn't comment so ?!!

We're not naturally close but we (Elisa, Lynn and myself) meet up once in a while to talk and hang out, like last April or May we went to East Coast together for Elisa to take pictures for her Art! I really miss those times when we would just hang out together and randomly chat. And I would also spend quite some time with Elisa during the O's period chatting and stuff.

I think all these girls' talks are the best - though so cliche and full of gossip.

But honestly, who knows how long these friendships will last? So I'm gonna try my best to make sure everyone still stays in contact and we still are able to have that special bond.

And after I hung out with them, I went to the cafe near Reb's place and met her!

She's also someone I was close with last year but have more or less drifted apart from due to me graduating and her having O's this year. But I'm glad we can still talk rubbish and everything as usual. I hope she wasn't waiting for me online to chat or anything cos Cher called and I spent 5 hours on the phone yakking. 5 bloody hours! I just hung up too.

So basically, my Saturday was really spent catching up with my girls and enjoying myself gossiping. KT was out all day with his guys too so we're even. Plus, he's not one to talk anyway.

My dad is so scary! I think he's outside now and I don't dare to go out in case he asks why I'm not asleep yet. :x

Gee cover by Pumashock
Friday, February 20, 2009 @ 12:03 PM

SNSD fan and awesome vocalist, love her cover of Gee!

And she made it on Korean TV, check out SNSD's reactions!

There was quite some talk on how TaeYeon was unhappy about it and how she's racist - but personally I don't think that's the case, it's probably all been blown out of porportion. Anyway, I can't be bothered to think so much since I like SNSD, plus I think Sunny and Tiffany's reactions were really cute!

Went for breakfast with Chong Aik just now! Breakfast wish fufilled - but hopefully, many more to come! (:

And also!

Happy Birthday, Phua Yi Ting!

You've been chairman all 4 years of secondary school - although just 2 years in my class, but honestly speaking, you deserve Best Chairman Award in Yuying or something. You've been a great organiser, and always someone who works behind the scenes to get things done although you're not the loudest or craziest in class (Unless it involves a certain W.L.H!). Plus, I'm so proud that you made it to a JC even with a D7 in Math!!!

D7! That's our best grade since Lord knows how long.

So yes, many happy returns of the day! Love you so muchie.

Do a little dance.
Wednesday, February 18, 2009 @ 11:42 PM

Full + Happy + Contented for the moment = Reasonably happy girl. :):):)

I'm quite looking forward to going to work tomorrow. Macs Macs Macs breakfast! It's only been 2 days of no work but it feels like I just went to work yesterday. Went back to Yuying today for our SPH award ceremony thing - and we can only get our cash money after filling in some form and submitting it to the general office.

I know it is for official reasons but hello, a trip back just to pass it?! Plus, it's such a hassle to photocopy my idenfication things.

I miss so many people now I've almost lost count. I am so mushy these days.

I can't sleep and this is such a corny post but:
Tuesday, February 17, 2009 @ 1:43 AM

I've always been more of a 'good friends' kind of person and have never much taken into regard the idea of having best friends. I guess to me, the defination of the latter was much too vague in my mind, and I believed I didn't put my 100% trust into anyone to regard them as buddies.

Yet somehow, I was just sitting around and thinking just now, when it struck me that to me, it didn't matter so much about what I really thought defined a best friend, or what makes a best friend - because I feel it and I know it's true.

I guess, I'm really glad you guys are around, no matter how tough things have been, or how tough things are gonna get - let's just stick it through, alright?

I love you guys! And I hope we will never fall apart.

Plus, lately my relationships are taking a turn for the better, so let's hope it maintains. I'm learning to be a more open-minded, understanding and supportive girlfriend. I'm learning to be a better daughter. I'm learning to be a better friend.

I miss Chong Aik! And Lai Han! And Yi Hui! And TAUFIQQQQ OMG. I miss Amanda too. And Lynn. And Elisa...and so many, many more!
Where did everyone go. I know lah, I don't ask everyone out but you guys have to ask me out too. :P

I feel kinda weird, but I do miss everyone. Oodles.

Ok, I'm gonna sleep soon and eat a nice (Macs!) breakfast tomorrow cos it's another day of facing papers and computer at work. But AT LEAST I'M OFF ON WEDNESDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Back to school for SPH awards thing.

Toh as a companion for work is er...He's quite a boring person (I know he is reading this) but at least something right. Hahahahah. And he's a nice friend la, although I don't doubt he's too weird sometimes. Love/hate him. (I'm just gonna give him more reasons to screech at me for fun while I ignore him).

But we're fated to be friends and working partners. In the board, in the student council, in work and in our future poly course.

Probably didn't think it was so yummy back then but I guess it's how they say things are taken for granted.

Chong Aik keeps harping on fried food day.

How come time passes so fast, I feel so old so old.

I have no life.
Monday, February 16, 2009 @ 10:14 PM

Work is so boring I want to die.

Videos did not last me through the journey, so I'm currently putting old episodes of Super Junior Full House into my iPod so at least I get more entertainment.
No matter how old the videos are, silly Korean boys never fail to make me smile.
Problem is I am so lazy to upload the videos. But yeah, must perservere for the sake of entertainment on a stupidly crowded train every morning.

Anyway, everyday except Wed will be spent working this week, but I have a feeling I'm gonna stop by end Feb, cos this is excruciating. Glad we did quite abit today.

And because Chong Aik will be back soon - Hi Chong Aik and I hope you had a good trip, no doubt you just did a lot of dancing = no time to shop!

But you need to buy clothes that you can wear in Singapore anyway.

I got myself a Tumblr too btw, so you must be thrilled.

Still, I have so many blogging platforms, you won't see me using Tumblr much until much later.

Alright, I'll update with more significant content once I get my act together and feel like a complete human again. :D

Operation Revamp
Sunday, February 15, 2009 @ 8:16 PM

Work tomorrow. Bummer. I was convinced from the beginning that I hate office jobs unless it involves churning out a good news story, but now I am even more er, convinced.

And also, I am convinced that I am starting to grow fat and even though KT keeps saying he'll love me even if I am 100KG heavier, obviously he won't right. Also, I'm not just paranoid of not fitting into my current clothes, I don't want to be unhealthily stuffed with junk food - so it's a damn logical reason.

I get abit uneasy when I think about how so many people lead unhealthy lifestyles, so I'll just watch what goes into my mouth a bit more.

Anyway, my sis got a pink rose from her friend for Valentine's. But it's probably from a female. She hasn't got to the age where she thinks guys are hot yet. Ok, maybe she has but I don't know.

So anyway, she asked me how to dry it and I showed her the rose KT got for me last year - which is properly dried! I am so proud of that.

I didn't get to dry this though. So it withered and eventually died after I tried my best to keep it alive for a long time.

But I guess, I don't really want to be given flowers frequently because I'll be superbly paranoid about them dying and if I dried them all I'll look like a freak with a bunch of dead, brown flowers!

Anyway, I very much miss hanging out with my friends, especially those who have started JC. So far, most people seem to be settling down well, so I'm glad. But don't forget about us, ok? :)

I feel so idle when I think about how everyone is so busy with life and I'm quite a boring person. I should just concentrate on making $$$ now anyway.

Ok, very irrelevant post. And Sam just said: I AM NOT A BLOB B)

In response to my dearest Hui Xuan's...
@ 3:27 AM

Warning: Fandom Post ahead. Scroll down for others.

...Last post. Yes, CSJH (Chun Sang Ji Hee) is such an amazing but underrated Korean group! I personally think that they are much better vocally than SNSD (Although SNSD has catchier songs, but CSJH is such a classic. SM seriously makes money out of the cutesy girls instead of seriously good vocalists like CSJH)

And one of my favourite slow numbers from them, My Everything. Maria and I used to record this like crazy! I think we even did it 10 times in a row before.

Extremely fast and catchy song, One More Time, ok?

They have been on hiatus in Korea (Thus many new SNSD fans might have not even heard of them), but I heard they are currently working to promote themselves in Japan and will only make a comeback in 2010. That's another year away!!!

But still, I'll be waiting for CSJH to come back. (My fave girl is Lina as well, the one who looks like she has a bit of mixed blood in her, but she's pure Korean.)

2009 looks set to have So Nyuh Shi Dae and Wonder Girls dominate the Korean industry, since other girl groups like Brown Eyed Girls and Kara don't appeal to the masses.

I am a true blue Kpop fan.

By the way, while Hui Xuan's favourite SNSD member is SeoHyun and Yi Hui's is Tiffany, mine is obviously Tae Yeon! Hahah. Not only because she's the best singer, but also because she's adorkable.

Yet, I'm beginning to suspect my real favourite might just be Choi SooYoung.

I think she caught my eye when I was watching SNSD's reality TV series, Factory Girl, where they interned at ELLE Girl Korea for a month. I love that show!! Plus, it was really fun watching them dress up, get dissed for wearing heels at work (Apparently not practical for a magazine job since there is a lot of running around involved) and loads more. Anyway, she was really bubbly and one of the best dressed, plus really funny. And I think I like her also because she's tall and has the best legs in SNSD. Hahahah.

And cos so many people have asked me why I like listening to Korean songs when I don't actually understand it, Korean girls nowadays are also versatile in English ok!

This perf was just two days ago. Hahaha. Happy V'day SNSD!

HUI XUAN, SEOHYUN SOUNDS SO MAN HERE COMPARED TO HER GEE PERFS BUT HER VOICE ROCKS!

And TaeYeon is awesome, as usual.

Anyway, back to my real life, I ended up not going to help my mum because she said my dad was going and I could celebrate Valentine's! Texted Yi Hui again but we decided to go out next week instead, for dinner (Chicken meatballs!) so KT and I made a last minute decision to watch a movie (Guess which one? It has Tom Cruise in it).

We were frantic that we couldn't get tickets but there were - but yeah only front row seats, so we decided to watch:

The Other End Of The Line

It's Hollywood meets Bollywood! Hahaha. Light-hearted chick flick, but I really like it. I think KT wasn't expecting to watch a chick flick after expecting some violence but ah-a-h-a-h-a-h.

We especially liked the couple seat (Which we always ask for when we watch at places that have them) since they are roomier and we can actually put our bags (And snuck-in Macs) beside us.

We always try to get Shaka Shaka chicken when we got to AMK Hub so we will eat it in the cinemas. Forbidden, I know but oi I clear the rubbish and not leave it there ok!

Almost half the cinema was empty cos everyone else were watching the 'hot' shows. Including the one we wanted to watch but my mum sponsored us for that next week. :):):)

It'll be great to meet KT after work for movie cos I'll be so shagged and I can sit in a nice cold place and watch the assasination of _____.

No prize for guessing la dey.

Looking exceptionally fugly here as compared to normal but yeh.

+ The one who annoys me a lot of the time. But yeh, I still have to love him. :P

We didn't get gifts for each other for V'day (He's horrible at presents anyway. Me is the good one.) but I did let him eat the chocolates I make. Can't be that bad since my brother likes it and ate like 3 right! But that idiot made a lot of exaggerated face expressions anyway.

I brought 3, made KT eat 2. Gonna make Yi Hui and the others try my second experiment.

I'm happy cos tomorrow is a Sunday and I don't have to work. I plan to stay home and rot all day, then meet some people for dinner. I need to catch up with lotsa people too.

I'm gonna play Harvest Moon again before bed. I seriously love free time at home *Inserts hearts*

Happy Valentine's Day!
Saturday, February 14, 2009 @ 4:34 PM

Wishing you a Happy V'Day!

To all those that matter, thank you for the overflowing river of Love, Goodness and Friendship the past years. You guys make all the change in the world.

Initially plans were to celebrate V'Day by having a girls' day out with Yi Hui - but due to working the past two days, getting up at 7AM and sleeping at 2AM, I am too worn out to do anything. Plus, after work yesterday, KT said he was hungry and waiting for me in the train station so we could go help my mum - and minutes later, my mum called saying she was hungry too. So I ended up buying Jap food for both of them, then we headed to Clarke Quay.

We stayed till 12plus ok!!! Went for supper and got home around 2AM.
I was so bushed. But fleamarkets are so fun, I like. But they make me wake up at 3.15PM in the afternoon.

Gonna help my mum again tonight, cos she's gonna be alone there.

To get into 'the Valentine spirit', I got plush roses for Lai Han, Chong Aik and Yi Hui a few days ago - and those are the only people that I've given gifts to for longtime friendship (And convenience) sake since Sec 1 and because I don't give you guys things very often. You guys are my best friends, and I love love love you all very much! (Doesn't mean I don't love you guys, but I know you understand!)

I made chocolates too. My brother was the first one to eat my creation. :) Shall give them out to whoever I see later.

I guess that's enough V'day spirit right? Just be nice to those dear to you everday, why wait till zee very commercialised V'day!

Also,

Happy 17th Birthday to Nicole Tang!

You are a very special girl, and you know it.

Important things!!

Hello, life is busy now cos I'm going to work more frequently now that work is starting to pile up.

The thing is, I reallyyy hate stacks of shitz, so I'm gonna double up efforts to finish everything ASAP. I don't mind earning less if I can get work finished faster actually. Hahah. Holidays matter more to me. I am really not a working kinda person.

One more thing I don't like about working is that after breakfast we go into the office, sit there. Lunch break, go out and eat, go back in and sit there.

It's a wonder I'm not fat, really.

Anyway, I just saw The Mutineers' new Tumblr site! Great job, Taufiq & Chong Aik! :D

I promise to contribute more frequently cos it looks so pretty. As soon as I'm done with the busy side of life.

Gee, if only we could get rich just blogging via that awesome place right?

And I am so not old-fashioned for STILL blogging in Blogger. I am just so not into the whole What-Is-In thing ok!
Yeah yeah. Tumblrs are for cool people, I'll get one eventually, you know it.

But I like being a geek. B)

Anyway, life hasn't been a bed of roses lately, so keep praying for me that things will take a turn for the better. And I'll blog with pictures soon.

Night! :)

Oh why?
Wednesday, February 11, 2009 @ 5:34 PM

It's raining, so I'm giving the school birthday celebration thingy a miss. I don't actually have any proper functioning umbrellas, neither do I like to carry them.

I do like to shake raindrops off after use on a dry floor outside and gleefully watch it turn wet though.

I hope you guys are gonna have fun! And I hope it all turns out well too! Since it is meant to be a surprise.
I guess, even if I go, Lai Han and I can't stay long since we're meeting at 7PM.

I'm gonna meet my her, Yi Hui and Chong Aik for dinner! Plus, I have stuff to pass to them. I also pray Lai Han gets out of her social crisis sooooon.

Do you realise I start almost every sentence with an 'I'? Maybe I'm feeling self obsessed today.

Happy 17th, ranger.
Tuesday, February 10, 2009 @ 3:02 AM

It is my boyfriend's birthday today. His 17th. So many memories, so many happenings, so many things we hold dear - but this is only the second birthday of his that we are celebrating together. I guess that shows that our time together hasn't been that long!

For the record, it's been 19 months, which basically translates into 1 year and 7 months short.

I don't bother saying much about him at times, and I don't like talking about him to people because I don't want them to judge. As much as they say outsiders are able to see things more clearly, I know that I'm at a stage where I am able to see his flaws, love his virtues and learn to accept him for who he is. I don't know what might happen in the future, but for now, I'm happy.

It's called living for the moment.

He might not be the perfect boyfriend, but he's just right for me.

And guess who made this even before we were together? ;)

P/S:

I really feel like sleeping but I want to play Harvest Moon Cute on my sister's DS Lite somemore.

I hope I can make it back to school on Friday for zee celebration thingo.

I bought a new wallet today! :))))

I have to take measurements of my dad's posters ASAP.

Happy!
Saturday, February 07, 2009 @ 10:48 PM

I haven't been blogging properly due to many, many things to do - I haven't even been playing Pet Society! Bwahahahah. But shall make up for it with a long, detailed post. Mostly because I am so proud of myself.

Since last Wednesday or so, I had this idea of having a surprise party for KT early (His actual birthday is next Tuesday, on the 10th of Feb) and so I called him and asked for his mum.

KT, "Why??? MUST BE SOMETHING TO DO WITH MY BIRTHDY RIGHTTTT."

At that point, I was like quite annoyed, cos I didn't want him to spoil something that I haven't even started. I was even silent for a couple of seconds but he didn't actually catch on, and afterwhich I said I was just seeking her advice on what to buy for my er, mum's birthday.

But anywayz, the original plan was to have it on Friday. Get his mum to bring him down to accompany her to 'buy something', and then we would sneak into his place first, turn off the lights and bring out the cake when he came back and turned the lights back on kind of thing.

I've always wanted to do one of those cliche, birthday surprises!

In the end, however, only Cheng Wee and Yao Zhong could make it for Friday. And I was severely paranoid that I wouldn't have enough people.

Thus, plan was shifted to Saturday, in hope that it'd turn out better. THANKFULLY, everyone else could make it eventually!!!

So yesterday was Operation Day. 7 of us, Yao Zhong, Cheng Wee, Lai Han, Reb, Nitish, Yi Hui and myself met downstairs his block and discussed how we were gonna make everything work. Yao Zhong even bought $16 worth of food, which we didn't actually touch. But our original plan failed again cause when I knocked on his door and his brother opened it and said, "He's showering."

Very anti-climax.

And he was showering cos he thought we were going out, btw.

But we trooped in, lit the cake and waited for him to finish showering - which FELT LIKE FOEVER!!!!

He knew Yao Zhong was there and thought that he was there to game as usual - and they were trying to urge him out of the toilet. His mum kept yelling that Yao Zhong wanted to use the toilet!!! Hahahah. It was damn funny, but we were all getting quite impatient anyway, and the candles were burning out.

But it was worth it!

Surprised but happy, birthday (in advance) boy!

Trying to smash his face into the cake. Probably Yao Zhong and Reb's doing.

People I have to thank a mil times for helping to make yesterday a success!

Then, like at every typical Singaporean birthday party, everyone moved on to playing cards while I looked on, since the only card game I know how to play is Cheat! Hahahah. I suck at card games.

Stupid people kept sticking the card on their foreheads.

Left around 9.30PM with KT, and we headed to Clarke Quay to help my mum, since she said it was shorthanded.

For the first time in a long time, the place was quite empty, especially for a Saturday night, but there were a bunch of old-but-try-to-act-damn-young-and-chio women in short skirts, high socks, pigtails...you get the idea.

And they were horrifyingly shrieky. -.-

They actually flew over to my mum's stall and went, "OoOoOooo HANDMADE ACCESSORIES!", leaving KT and I baffled, cos my mum and aunt weren't around. And they knocked over a couple of things too.

The scariest was this 60plus year old woman who had her white hair in pigtails and was wearing a skirt shorter than mine.

Random Clarke Quay picturesss.

When things get boring, drag your boyfriend to camwhore.

Anyway, I got him this for his birthday!!

Topman wallet. The most functional and practical gift because he's been needing one forever. I am gonna make sure he uses it for a long, long time or die. It didn't cost me a lot of $$$, but ultimately, it's the thought that counts, isn't it?

Before everything, I met up with Chong Aik in the afternoon. He was supposed to alter his pants, then decided that he was going to those neighbourhood shops instead cos Orchard is damn expensive.

And that is damn true. Plus, he needs to start buying clothes that he can wear in Singapore and not Latvia/Tokyo/Down Under etc etc.

Some of my friends are already busy with JC, but the good thing is that everyone seems to be enjoying themselves and having a lot of fun. So, for the record, Nitish is in Innova JC, Lai Han is in Serangoon JC and Naddy is in Catholic JC.

Sometimes, I feel like I should have started school early too. Been slacking too much - but at least I've got work tomorrow, and on Tuesday, it's KT's birthday celebration. It's gonna be just me and the guys though, maybe a movie and dinner.

I want to go down for a walk but it looks like it's gonna pour. :(

Biz.

Jonathan's gotten me a job at his aunt's company. 10AM - 6PM everyday, whoopee.

Actually, I still think it's okay. Since I've been rotting away my life at home.
But what I will miss are - long nights awake and not being able to sleep in.

I think I'll just see how it goes. I need to not slack, anyway.

& I still have that thing to do. Please let it work out and not let ____ find me damn mafan. Saturday FTW!

Love you guysss. Please pray my life doesn't change, that much.

Wordy post.

I've got no pictures lately, but lots to say.

Firstly, I have a new toy.

120GB Apple iPod Classic in Black. It is the most gorgeous thing on my desk, currently. I love it loads!

Chong Aik and I actually went to Sim Lim to scout for the cheapest ones, cos we had been contemplating over whether to buy a Classic or a Nano Chromatic for the longest time. A Nano Chromatic is like more than SGD$100 cheaper than a Classic! Thus, lots of thinking.

Plus, we've other things we want to buy too. :(

But in the end, we found a Classic selling at SGD$330, SGD$347 with tax. Cheapest Chromatic there was SGD$200 (Without tax) - so we went for the Classic !

Spent SGD$700 in 5 minutes - but walked out very happy people.

We've never gone 'bargain-hunting' like that before, but so worth it.

I think we should make it a tradition to sell and buy new iPods together next time, Chongy.

Anyway!

Serangoon JC called my mum yesterday to demand why I didn't turn up for registration and my mum explained the whole 'She-got-offered-a-place-in-Temasek-Poly's-Communications-and-Media-Management' thing but the lady told me to head down and sign a withdrawal form of some sort.

Soooo today, I went down to the school just to do that. But oh my gosh, I have no idea why but the two ladies (They looked very young) at the counter were sort of the day-dreamy kind and they didn't even answer my queries properly, just shoved a withdrawal form at me.

I don't even know how to fill in stuff like my Civics Tutor's name, my class etc.

In the end, I actually needed to get the form signed by my parents, but whoever it was on the phone didn't inform my mum firsthand, so the crazy dreamy lady asked me to bring it home to sign!!

GO BACK THERE AGAIN!?!!

-.-

Still, I got to meet the SRJC peeps - Lai Han, Kelly, Wenjie, Darien, Yi Ting, Jane...amongst others. I love the Arts stream combination there! (Supposed to be there, apparently) But yeah, my heart and mind is more or less settled on TP's CMM.

It was quite a freaky thought though, like I could just submit an MC for my absence yesterday and today, join my orientation group and be happy.

In Life, it's all about the choices. Even if I have to forgo an excellent combination of Econs + English Lit + History + One Math/Science (Obviously Science).

I seriously hope TP has good things to offer me, or I'll die for rejecting going to a JC.

Next thing is, transport is so effing expensive now. I even walked home from Hougang Mall today. Not that far, I know, but I was carrying lots of things ok!

And I am not a cheapo - I just take a lottt of bus + train. When poly starts, I'm getting concession. In the meantime, I will just have to spend wisely. Hopefully, I can work with Toh or something.

Andddd today! I did nothing at home till late noon, then went to meet HX for dinner and passed her the birthday present I made for her. I bought a blank CD, filled it with Disney Hit Songs and designed an album cover for her. I hope she loves me more now.

Anyway lately, I've been worrying about issues again. I think I've reached a point in life that I have to suddenly make decisions with not just my heart, but with my mind.

Lighter note:

I'm eating loads. :B

I've decided what kind of hair I want already. Now I'm just wondering if I should go ahead and cut it.

I have birthday to plan !!!!!

Ok, off now. (Omg I am so fat.)

You?

Today was really very eventful - seeing how I missed out on going to Mr Neo's house to bai nian just to send Taufiq off, then finding out that the latter's flight was actually yesterday.

So I ended up going to Hougang Mall and then Plaza Singapura with Lai Han and Chong Aik to post his iPod via registered postage to the girl who bought it and then went walking around idly. To Celest, take care of Chong Aik's beloved iPod ok!

I'm dying to get a new one soon. But there are so many things I need/want to get!

I can pay out of my own pocket, but I don't exactly want to be broke. I need a job. Hello?

Anyway, met up with Cher later in the afternoon and we went to Ajisen to eat ramen, cos I've never eaten it before! Idiot lah I know. I don't even know whether the Cha Shu is actually Char Siew and all that.

But looks yummy, right!

I am gonna go back and eat again so I can become experienced in eating there! Hahahahah. Don't laugh at me!

We were damn full after eating - plus we drank the soup + ice tea + iced water. So when we walked out, we felt like...water bags? Bloated x 10000000000. Thus, walked from Plaza Singapura to Far East for window shopping. Cher wanted to buy a vintage backpack but apparently, she has something even better at home in my opinion. A yakpak okay. Much nicer. But yeah, which girl can have enough?!

Somebody hire me please. I'm a hard worker, I like animals, and I'm generally quite a friendly person by nature. Oh, and I don't go on long breaks, promise. :D

Picturessssssssssssssss.

And this is the present Cher gave me (She bought a box to put the stuff in and I thought the present was from Chamelon!). I love the vintage feel. They say Aquarians do.

But you know what, I DON'T HAVE PIERCED EARS LAH!!! HAHAH. But I'm planning to use them for something else. I have a creative streak ok.

Oh and I still think this phrase is highly overused but its true - time flies.

I'm still nibbling on the cookies KT bought. Love Famous Amos Chocolate Chip cookies to the maxxxxx.

And damn, I really need a new iPod soon. Like, VERY SOON.

Gonna turn in earlier tonight. Fer sure.
