Happy 16th Birthday, Jacintha and Samantha Yap



I've known these two since toward the end of primary school, when Nad and I used to write fanfics and the two of them were fans of our work!

It was really pretty amazing how these two entered my life, especially when it was under really unlikely circumstances! And I'm really glad that they did, if not, I wouldn't be part of who I am today.

I really want to say thank you to the both of you for being great, loyal friends who have always been there to dish out advice and are the best listening ears anyone could ask for. Also, you guys are always really mature in thinking, even throughout the past few years. That is one thing I admire about the both of you and feel that many are able to learn from you guys on this point - how allowing yourselves to be rational and yet not just a person of reason but also feelings have helped shaped your characters


Jac, I know that you've been battling with your own feelings in the past year, but I'm glad that everything has cleared. You once told me that Sam and you studied together but Sam was always the one who managed to remember things during exams. But nonetheless, I believe in you and know that you are going to do well in the months leading up to the big O's. :) I know you have big dreams and I want to tell you to go for 'em! Will see you in London. Stay focused on your goals and always remember that I love you!

Sam, you love unconditionally and I always see you really being the older sister to Jac. The voice of Reason all the time - which makes me really glad. Also, you have always managed to approach things with utmost logic, which has made me feel that you are really a sensible person. Anyway, I know you have big dreams too - a glittering career that I am sure you are able to reach with ease so long as you keep searching for opportunities that come by. May we one day go to Paris together! Love you!


P/S: Happy belated birthday to my dad!! An official greeting here though I've told him about a zillion times yesterday already.

Was gonna go somewhere to run some errands today, but then went to Kt's place instead.

















































I got him to help me upload and publish photos since I was going off but as you can see, he reposted so many of them!! Hahahah. Blogger noob. I shall just leave it the way it is though.


Anyway, mum & dad came to fetch me and we went to buy chilli crab and satay! Hahah. Since we don't have time to go out and eat, we made do with a small celebration at home for my dad's birthday. I am so stuffed now!


Also, will be preordering SNSD's Genie. So anyone who wants to, let me know!



Order fast, so we might get the poster along with the CD! If we get more orders it might be cheaper too. Currently, the price is $19 bucks.



Anyway, lecture day tomorrow! Woohoo. Hope Jean is feeling okay. REST AT HOME IF YOU CAN OK.

- Slept a lot (Not enough)
- Ate a lot (Not enough)
- Resisted the urge to shop (Sadly)
- Made a rough mind plan on what to do next week (Probably gonna procastinate)
- Watched a lot of Korean videos and downloaded perfs (This I like, especially SNSD's marine outfits on Inkigayo.) and was happy for Suju on GMA

But still, I know there's something missing. I can't believe I'm gonna start a new week feeling so incomplete.

I slept in till 2PM today but unlike in the past, waking up late nowadays just seems to make me even more tired.

Spent the day at home downloading Clubbox perfs and loading them into my iPod. I'll be entertained on the bus ride tomorrow. :D
There are shows I wish I could have too but the HQ ones don't come with subtitles. I think I have to download them seperately and I'm just lazy to so I'll watched subbed LQ versions on Youtube instead!


And it's so late now my sister has decided against going to Hougang Point with me. :( I'm going to go myself!

Anyway, now that FT Island has come and left our little island, I can only keep praying that someone I love is gonna make a stop here next. PLEASE !!

Oh and I think I'm getting pretty effective is saving money now. Let's hope it lasts!

SNSD's Genie MV (HQ)




Oh my oh my, the above doesn't look like an MV at all - but what does it matter? The girls are all incredibly sexy in it! I think it's all the sleek leg dance movements. Hahahah. I'm loving the MV cos it kinda looks futuristic and retro at the same time.

Plus, Tae Yeon, Sooyoung and Sunny look exceptionally hot! I think it's the eyeliner, seriously. And Sooyoung's awesome new short crop. And it makes me happy seeing Cinderella girl Yoona dancing so well too!

And I really like Jessica's new long orangey hair in the MV!


Verdict: Very happy Rachel. Watch the MV ok, even if you are not a SNSD fan, cos the video is just really nice!

I found out today that Deanna is also a SNSD fan! Hahahah. One more person to spazz with.


SNSD's Genie - Live



Their first live performance on Music Bank today. Not bad for a comeback! (Maknae Seo Hyun seems to be getting better at dancing + I love her ending dance part.)


Someone on Soompi, a korean forum, commented that the comeback was messy (I agree) but they believed it was bcause the cameraman was too excited for the girls and the camera kept shifting everywhere! Possibly a SNSD fan heheh.

Anyway, the girls won #1 on Music Bank.

Congrats to SNSD for winning 10x!

I was drowning in work before 12AM, but glad that the wee hours of my Friday morning are now officially free (for now).



Paper prototypes that we did on Wednesday for Graphic Design Fundamentals class! It is basically the simplest form of designs for stuff. Like what we did were brochure prototypes.

I only took this picture because Stef-Who-Is-Quarantined asked me how it was done so I might as well not waste the picture either.


Met Cher after school today at Tampines Mall and we slacked till 5-ish then went for rehearsal. I can't believe how efficient we are! We did up the script in like 15 minutes.

Btw, we are gonna be emceeing for Sports Club's annual general meeting tomorrow. It's like an awards presentation. And it's the first time in TP I'm doing such a thing! And emceeing with Cher too.

I hope my voice is working properly tomorrow, I was struggling throughout today's dry run and silently praying I wouldn't croak or suddenly go off pitch.













I hope everything goes well tomorrow, it's gonna be a really packed day. Hopefully, the emceeing goes well too. I hope Cher gets to spend loads of time with Gi now that she's back and Cher has two weeks of holiday starting from next week due to some LRM thing.
