Guess what? I'm blogging on top of the hosereel thingo at the viewing mall of T1 right now. Awesome.

I love you people so much!

To study break! Can you believe that's the only thing I'm looking forward to right now? I can't wait for the next two weeks to be over. :(
Anyway, I'll be blogging over the weekend when Blogger's picture function is hopefully up. I'm getting tired of logging in everyday to see that Blogger's functions are still screwed up. Please surprise me tomorrow.

Also, I got yet another C for ess gra so I really hope the group project is gonna pull up my overall grades. OMG GIRLS, WE HAVE TO CHURN OUT A MASTER PIECE, OK? Ok and I guess another reason to look forward to study week is that I can really try my best at studying for the theory exam itself, since my practical sucks.

My creative juices are running out, but at least next week is finally submission week - and then self-proclaimed freedom!



And Cher passed me the F21 stuff today. Ok the more I look at the rose top the more I think it looks kind of weird, but I love the accessories. If only they did free shipping to Singapore, I'd probably shop online more often.

Love how every week passes so fast. :) And this time next week, I'll be celebrating because almost every assignment would have been handed up. Awesome!

My boyfriend and I have watched this trailer about a zillion times together and everytime we watch it, we still never fail to laugh together!



You know the part where the old man, Carl, is relaxing in his armchair after his house has taken flight and then the sudden knocking on the door comes and he goes, "Huh?" in this really cute tone? Kt keeps mimicking it!!!! Not to mention the part where Russell (The little boy!) was trotting gleefully towards Carl with his GPS navigator in hand, then declaring:

"With my wilderness explorer GPS, we'll never get lost!"


And then he flings the GPS navigator out of the window!!!!! ROFL MOMENT.



Alright but those two aside, how are you not tickled silly by Kevin the colourful bird and Dug, the dog?!!?!




My favourite parts of the whole trailer were when Carl was trying to shoo Kevin away and it just makes those cute sound at him in retort and flaps its wings in response.




And obviously, Dug's response to Carl's "Did that dog just say hi there?" and Dug turns around with the same tongue-hanging-out-of-mouth expression and jumps on him:


"Oh yes! I have just met you, and I LOVE you."



Also, how Russell's (The little boy!) enthusiasm seems to not falter even when Carl is being such an old grump! And don't you just love how he says, "No." to everything Russell asks? Oh my God. Just when I praised blogger yesterday for having its picture function restored, it HAD to screw up again today.

But anyway, I'm still gonna blog because this is a happy piece of news! Although we only practiced a couple of times today, I think we did reasonably well for presentation. But yea sorry la I can't memorise statistics & many many countries very well so I shall try not to be bothered by the minusing marks for that problem part.

So, thanks a lot for the effort, guys~ hope we do well. And please pray Med Soc goes as well on Friday! Wear your blazers. Hahaha.

I'm definitely going to try getting a headstart on GDF and Ess Gra group assignment ASAP so we don't have to rush.
But for the meantime, I'm just really glad we've crossed a couple of mini hurdles.


Managed to meet Kt then Cher for a bit after everything. She suggests going out to study everyday during study break and i kinda agree cos this time, I have got to do better! I really underestimated the exams the first round. Plus, she has 5 papers. I've got 3.

Btw, I'm so full until I wanna puke, seriously. Gonna skip dinner and sleep earlier tonight lest I have the urge to skip Journalism tomorrow. :(

Ok, bad bad headache now I think I'm gonna go rest for abit. I really need like my head is gonna explode. I want to go on a holiday!

That aside, a million and one thankyous to my mum for bringing me out shopping today. I hung the clothes up all around my room so everytime I look at them I have something to be happy about!

Anyway, i'm currently working on the marketing speech cards but I'm seriously falling asleep and I realise it IS true I do tilt my head slightly when I type when I'm tired and I DON'T KNOW WHY! I feel so much like a retard.

I'm so sleepy :( Need to catch more shuteye but it's just so wasted to fall asleep on a Saturday night. And I'm gonna save money for sure, really. No more shopping for a long, long time!


And I SHOULD go to bed and get up early tomorrow right. Today was well-spent, so hopefully, tomorrow will not be an exception.

Finally, after an excruciating week or so, we have finished both media&society and marketing projects that are due tomorrow. I've also completed my journalism story proposal, so I feel super good now!

Had a fantastic time today as well. Thank you, group members, for all your hard work and contributions! We make a great team.


Anyway, we rushed out the final editing and got everything printed around 6-ish in the evening before I rushed down to Dhoby Ghaut to meet Kt for dinner.

Nah, nothing fancy although it's our 2nd year, because we're both so busy! But what's important to us is how we spend the 365 days a year together instead of just focusing on dates.

Was really wiped out after I got there and nearly flew into a mini moodswing, but thank God for yummy food. I was tempted to just grab fast food but he insisted we head to Manhattan Fish Market! Glad we did. I love the fish & chips, and the service! The waiters and waitresses were unbelievably polite, it's almost scary.


Dory fish & chips! Loved the huge portions for both food and drink. Much better than Fish & Co! :)

Wanted to head to Clarke Quay but plans got foiled again cos it was getting late and I still (Dang) had J1 proposal to do, so we slacked around abit then he sent me home.

He used to send me back quite a lot in the first couple of months, but after awhile things just get lazy so he stopped for quite abit, but it has recently picked up again! Maybe he has begun to miss me more!

The funniest and most kan chiong bus memory together was when it was during the O Level period and he had an A Math paper on that day at 2PM.

We finished an E Math paper earlier in the morning and he wanted to take the bus back home with me (To take the book Eclipse or Breaking Dawn from me!) and let it loop around so it would go back to Kovan and he could head back to school. But the problem was that there was a possibility of him being late!

I remember I even wanted to throw the book down so he could grab it, cross the road and re-board the bus!

Good times good times. :)

Nonetheless, thank you for being so patient and always waiting for me whenever I'm late without getting mad. Here's to 2 years and many many more ahead!



Photo qualities suck though. My camera has been spoilt for ages so I used my E63's lousy camera. :( Thinking about getting a new one or at least getting the current one fixed.

Week hasn't been a good one for everyone though, and I do mean globally. The Jarkata bombings had my mum launching into a speech about how her innermost thoughts and feelings.

I do think it was really a pity though. And I guess this kind of urges everyone to be on their toes at all times. It's always when something happens that it jolts us into a panic mode, and the latter fades after awhile until a next disaster occurs.

Not good.

Otherwise, yet another weekend is approaching. Can't wait to meet LaiHan & Chong Aik tomorrow for dinner. We're going to check out ION Orchard & chill.


Really, what would I do without them? Yi Hui, I only wish you could manage your time! Urggrh. I'll probably see you next July or something.

Hi ho everyone, Blogger seems to be screwed up (again) and this time it doesn't look like it's my problem alone, cos I've friends who have problems with it as well!

So guess what? It's Wednesday morning already and I am pretty much looking forward to GDF tutorial later because it seems like it's gonna be fun. Thank goodness my dad came back and is gonna give me a lift to school so I have a bit of time to polish up our marketing report, which I am gonna be staying back with Stef for after school today. HOPEFULLY, we can finish Med Soc as well.

Cher mentioned on her blog that it's submission week for her. For me too. Let's just hope that all the hard work is gonna pay off and we'll get a decent group grade.

I can't wait for presentations next week before we finally get to settle on individual assignments again.



Plus, I can't believe it's nearly August already! It has just struck me that more than half the year has passed so quickly and that time isn't slowing down so everyone's just trying to keep up. All the JC peeps are already well on their way of finishing their first year. Makes you wonder if you made the right decision sometimes.

Looking forward to study break so it'll be a load off assignments and just hardcore studying! yeaaaaaah.

That's just how I feel right now, especially when I look around and see so many pretty things that are just begging to be bought. :(



I'm now at Tampines 1 now with Stef and we're slacking at Subway. I am currently turning into an ice cube because the air conditioning is fantastic and there's a fan on top of me as well. Great.

On a happy note, I have more or less finished the marketing Powerpoint slides and we just have to touch up everything. Think I'm gonna send it to group members to fill in the financials part, because I have honestly no clue as to what to include.


All right so it'll already be mid week tomorrow, which is a comforting thought! See, the week really passes quite fast. I just hope we will be able to finish up marketing and media society projects by Thursday so we can get them printed and I can enjoy Year No. 2!




Stef is telling me to rush out on the resume we need to do ASAP for the F1 thing. Hopefully, $$$ is on the way!
