My goodness, this is my 1000th post here at FFTS. And this isn't even my first blog. It's my 3rd, if I don't remember wrongly?

Anyway, went to Toh's brother Xavier's mini birthday celebration at Changi beach just now and I am so proud because I managed to find my way in all on my own!! Thank you Stef for the directions too!

I keep thinking tomorrow's gonna be a Saturday and I am absolutely thrilled when I remember it's Friday - and one without journalism. I am so happy!

But anyway ok so I can't go to Paris because of fund issues but that is not gonna make me any less happy, because the holidays are coming up and Taufiq is back in town. It's amazing how fast the years have passed since he has gone to Perth and now he's back again, permanently. Well, at least till he completes NS. But anyway! It's nice to have everyone in the same place again - and I can't wait for the massive sleepover after Chong Aik gets back from Beijing. I don't know how to express my excitement.

And sigh this sucks ok it is the third time I am buffering Gee to watch because the first time I accidentally screwed up the buffering and the second time I clicked on another page link!!

And I don't wanna download it cos I am determined to watch it before I sleep tonight.




!#$!@#$!@# i am getting sick of hearing the same lines from Glee repeated and I can't skip to the front or the video is gonna skip. AISH.

Laptop/desktop problems are seriously driving me nuts I can't even think straight anymore grr. Life sucks when the only gateway to your work/going online is not working properly ok!!!!!!!!!

I've made a list of things I need to do in the hols and one of them is to go get my laptop checked.

On a happy happy happier note, today was rest day for me and I've completed most of my assignments 'cept photography(Which I pray has its deadline extended till next Friday) and a journalism article to churn out. Went to watch Victor Victoria with Kt. I really liked the costumes and dancing but the play could have been a lot better with a more interesting plot since the idea was interesting.

Anyway Friday is a holiday! Super broke now though so I don't think spending money is legal for me.



And I'm really quite frustrated now because I have no idea how to complete my French homework. I really need to get my act together so that I won't fail next week's listening test.

I also keep thinking that I might forget something I need to do. Not good. :(

Portraiture today was awesome and I reckon our models did a really good job. Thank you Lorraine, Charmaine and Dunya!! Jean and Eudora too, for bringing them all in.

Today was really a good day not just considering photog was at its most fun but also because I got to eat Subway, mushroom ham and cheese sandwiches, journalism's deadline is next Monday and tomorrow there is no school. Gonna go watch a play with Kt at night and do my assignments in the afternoon.

Was really motivated to finish it all tonight but now I just wanna sleeeeeeeeeeeep and soak up my freedom - for now.

Oh man my desktop just officially died on me but I am only half panicky because when it screwed up once months ago I managed to salvage most of my songs and files. I guess it's just the more recent ones but OH WELL. Mostly songs anyway. I shall remain calm.

Now my hugest problem is that iTunes only syncs songs when both the programme and songs are in the same place so I can't keep my songs in my hard disk :(

And my laptop has a pathetic amount of space lah. I am doomed.

But you know, I should really worry about this after this week is over. Why oh why are assignments all due at the same bloody time?

Sometimes I think boys are really shitty. We always find reasons to cover up their mistakes and find excuses to make ourselves believe we always have fault in things.

But at the of the day, you still can't let go.


Anyway, it was out to EHub with Cher today. We were both running late so we ended up cabbing there. Hahah I think we always somehow manage to spend money that we actually thought we had been saving so well. And Kbox today was more expensive. Damn it right, nothing was going our way.

Still, had a good time singing, though I was seriously squeezing out every single Chinese lyric I could remember. I am such an ang moh kantang.












Anyway, I've more or less finished my per comm assignments due next week. Now I just got to find out who to interview for management and I should be all set. But the question is, who do I interview exactly huh?



To be sisters in this lifetime is a rare blessing that only comes by when you least expect it, and you often allow yourself to feel annoyed and irritable by the things your sister does, never once stopping to think of just how lucky you are. Still, I love you to bits and pieces even when you steal the last Kinder Bueno from the fridge, flop on my bed after netball practice, and constantly find things to argue with me about.


Happy sweet 13th, babe. We will never be apart.

My sister informed me just now when I got back that there was a roach hiding somewhere in the kitchen and that piece of news scared the living daylights out of me. Now I am extra cautious when I step inside!!! I hope it gets caught ASAP. :(

Anyway, met up with Rebecca Yap today after a long long time and it was really great to be able to catch up on stuff. Most importantly, she was such a dear in helping me with my preparatory photos for Photography with her new DSLR! I love you girl and thank you so much. Have a whale of a time in Beijing with Geraldine!

Alright tired beyond words but got to study for French tomorrow. Please please please let it be easy as pie. Also, I am determined to finish most of my assignments due next week by this week. So busy can cry. I've been extra uptight this week and I really hate this feeling. The feeling of trying to do my best at every single thing and yet noticing the fact that my efforts may be of naught.

And I am trying to save money like crazy. This has been bugging me for ages.



On a happy note, just booked tickets for a midnight 2012 on Friday in celebration of my sister's birthday ^^ Kt is coming too. Finally I get to see everyone I love in one place.

Now I really wish I could get her a nice present. I asked her and she said, "MONEY!!!!" when she has more money than me. Possibly for the next 3 years.

So frustrated I feel like my lungs could burst any moment now. Sometimes minor problems are the ones that bug you most.

It was only today on the bus back to TM after lecture when Jonathan reminded me of all the upcoming assignments and it just hit me like a ton of bricks.

When I say this sem has been really slack so far I mean really slack!! I have not even felt the sense of urgency for anything yet. But oh well I'm on my toes now and I plan to start on a bit of everything by this week.

Oh well that's life isn't it?


The things I'm looking forward to this week is watching 2012 with the family on Friday night to celebrate my sister's 13th, and also Kbox-ing with Cher on Saturday!! Happiness in the midst of all the upcoming assignments keeps me sane. SO yep, I can't wait and I hope all of you are having fun (That definitely does not mean slacking!)

Plans from today were shelved and I stayed home instead watching videos and attempting to pack my room. Hmm...the end result is not very well done at all so I guess I might need to actually start moving things around and really cleaning them.

Tomorrow's Monday and yet another week begins ~ I was thinking I should actually go through what I have been learning so far but the lazy urge settles in five seconds later.

K abrupt end cos my sister just called and we're going out!! Free company but I have to buy her food. Tsk.

I don't care how selfish I sound but sometimes all I really want is to be alone and to have some peace, ok?

Scrabble ring from CCN day @ TP today!

Y'know even though my class wasn't selling much (Thought it was great Adam & Farah both brought stuff though! Wished we had proper discussions instead of throwing ideas around so much.), I think everyone still pretty much had alottttttt of fun. Cookies, cupcakes, desserts, drinks, hotdogs, burgers...seemed like food made up the bulk of all the sales. And Bus school scammed us all la hahah $2.50 coke float when Engine was hawking them at $0.50!!!!!

Still, today was damn awesome although I can't believe how unlucky I was in the morning. Started off really well cos I initially missed a 72 but another came along reallyyyy quickly. So I remember tweeting and saying I was just damn lucky!

Then today, of all days, 72 got caught in a jam where? OLD TAMPINES ROAD. When it is usually beyond empty.

And when I came home and checked out Twitter I realised people were all tweeting on how today's actually Friday the 13th!!

But still, was great and hey, least I spared myself from some class today. ;)



Hehe ok gonna wake Kt up now and then I'm going out to meet CA & LH for dinner. Have an awesome weekend guys!

Am currently blogging on my desktop PC and it just feels so weird to be typing on hard, solid keys that are unlike laptops these days. But it's something I miss - my hello kitty keyboard. ^^ Anyway, it's Weds tomorrow so that means no school and yay total and complete rest. Till now I am still promising myself that I'm gonna finish all my week's assignments by tomorrow so I'll have Thursday to relax and embrace the weekend!

Light painting in photography tutorial today was a total and complete...fail. But hey we did manage to get better with each shot so hopefully, this is the start to an extremely progressive semester ahead. Gah, I'm pinning all my hopes on this sem to pull everything up so it better work. And I am very annoyed that I keep pinching dents in my hp pouch and now it feels really weird.


K i just did the teeniest to-do list for tomorrow and I am starting to feel tired already. If anyone is able to let me hitch a ride to TP tomorrow for my sole purpose of submitting forms please relieve me of my misery, and you will forever loved.

To end on a happy note, I went home with Cher today (Technically yesterday) and we waited patiently for Modparade's new collection, only to refresh the page 3 times and then realise all the waiting was for nothing. HAHAHAHAHA NO COLLECTION TODAY OH WELL.

Went for French today and I must say, the loud piercing sound of the lecturer's voice coupled with the lecture threatre's mic at full volume was...amazing. I got a splitting headache just sitting there for about 50 minutes. Anyhow, tomorrow's photog and journalism stuff so hopefully it's gonna be a great day. Y'know boring as journalism lectures and tutorials are, I've got an urge to join Stop Press if I'm allowed to and hon my writing skills outside of class.



Attempt to look like Narsha from Brown Eyed Girls with my past fringe and stick straight hair (A month ago when I just got my hair cut. Cut's completely ruined now), completed with the weird as hell expression. Complete fail. And fat everything. Ignore I just think it's super funny!

For the record, his hair is supposed to be dyed in a milk tea shade and mine in chestnut brown. But I can safely say that after much scruntinizing today at his place...mine's lighter.

We both used Liese's bubble hair dye so go with your gut feeling - cos the result is always different from what you think it is.


Also, 10 days to my sister's 13th. What am I supposed to give her?
