So this post will be made up of something that FTTS lags entirely...pictures! Spent the last couple of days with my coursemates and secondary school friends. Good times. So here's a mini photo vomit:

Happy Birthday Brenda & Shao Liang!

Obviously, everyone is mimicking Brenda's infamous peace sign in most of the photos. Girl, you seriously need to learn some new moves? HAHAH.

Had such an amazing time with you guys at ECP. Though our initial plan was to go on the beach and actually stay there for a bit? Hahaha but hey, let's make these trips more frequent okay? :) And with the both of you flying back and forth Singapore so frequently I am like the only constant here lah hello?

K, I'm out g'night! And I seriously need to do something about my hair...

P/S: HAPPY 17TH JAC & SAM LOVE U GUYS.

I'm a Fighter
@ 2:03 AM

So I must:

1. Have my pride trampled,
2. Have my dignity stomped on,
3. Be rejected,
4. Be humiliated,
5. Learn the hard way...

Before I finally can start moving to greater things in this game of Life. Well, if it this is the way to go, then I'm game.

Sometimes, I freak myself out at the things I never knew I was capable of doing. But once the initial hard stage is over, I guess things really do settle themselves. 6 months is a long time, and it's ongoing, but I've never stopped and I'm not going to anytime soon. Or never.

Be strong Cher!

It scares me, the fragility of human relationships. Titles aside, no mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, girlfriends, boyfriends, everyone's relationship has is core based solely on feelings. And this is why when shit gets real, when things are no longer the same anymore, it scares you how these feelings that were once present can just disappear and reappear with another.

So when will it finally be about the person, and not the time and place and circumstance?

P/S I love you Cher. Although you are nonsense.

This week is over baby, and that also means we are done with our pitch session for Singcam!

Am extremely proud of you guyssss. Especially when we had to stay back till 11.30PM and survive without food for so long ha ha ha. And I think we did a great job and I can't wait to actually start filming our production cos I'm thinking it'll be really, really fun.

Photobucket

My awesummmmmmmmm members because I have never worked with people so enthusiastic about doing their work before.

Some bad stuff popped up to ruin my mood today but no can do nuh uh. Not gonna let this kill my sprit, though it seems rather non-existent right now.

Sad news today is that I am completely and utterly broke. The good news is that the weather these days have been fantastic! Minus the annoying fact that I have to look like a drowned rat when I headed out of my place this morning.

Ok and I shall end off this post with this pink thingo my uncle gave me for my iPhone. Shiny!

Hey all, how's your week been so far? It's already midweek!

I do realise that I have only been blogging about how busy I am and how school sucks and how schoolwork is a total and complete attention hogger but that's just how it is right now...

I do feel kind of good about the whole 'I-am-stuck-in-this-I-am-so-busy-with-assignments-and-group-projects' zone since I have less time to let my mind wander but it still does at night, no matter how tired I am. Which leaves me wishing I can sometimes just rip my thoughts right out of my head, bottle them up and burn them.

So anyway, yesterday was our broadcast co-hosting assessment. It was actually pretty fun, damn stressed and all but it turned out ok. We got our grades today, crazily fast. And well, I guess I'm satisfied for now. For now.

You were fantastic yesterday Jean!!! So pretty too. Let's keep this up!

And the strange white light at the bottom of our photos is due to my stupid pouch blocking the camera.

Honestly honestly, I do think the only thing I am able to focus on right now is CMM and the people I meet everyday. Which is good because I don't have a choice, and even if I do, this would still be the right one to take.

The days seem to fly by now, and I'm not sure whether to be worried or excited for what's up ahead. Am so very very tired. I hate being plagued by thoughts.

XOXO.

It's been awhile. How are you? I miss you, and hope you are well.

Busy week
Friday, June 18, 2010 @ 2:57 AM

Ok so deciding to blog a little about my crazy week before I turn in and wake up tomorrow to hopefully see basic sub editing as an elective up for selection online! *Fingers crossed* I managed to squeeze in a bit of time this week to catch a movie with Li Zhen as well, which was gooooood. Much needed stress reliever.

Spent about 8 crazy hours today in total doing video editing in Mediabiz and then heading out to places to film. The entire process was a crazy one but I guess it was pretty much worthwhile, hopefully everything turns out alright - including our final piece.

So anyway, the most interesting part of our day was visiting Ms Yvonne's place to interview her as part of our project. She's an etiquette teacher at her own school and is extremely nice! She even gave us a book she wrote herself on dining etiquette and baked us each a cupcake - which Julia was very excited about! Hahaha.

Only lousy iPhone pics but better than nothing!

Photobucket
So nice of her, we were all a little taken aback but happy!

And snippets from previous filming days. At Shiva's!

In all...I still have journals, business plan and APEL to finish up sooo..I guess it is stay-in-and-be-hardworking day tomorrow. Wanted to settle down and do some work tonight but there is no absolute way I can get my brain working at all. Worse term break ever but then again, it's not exactly meant to be a joy ride - and I've learned quite some from working with so many different people in such a short amount of time.

Crazily need to saveeee too. Was in disbelief at the amount of money I spent this week. Crazy. And maybe a part time job when everything ends. Tsk.

G'night all and have a great weekend ahead!

P/S: HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHAO LIANG ^^

Russian roulette is not the same without a gun
Monday, June 14, 2010 @ 2:45 AM

It's just not the same taking too sheltered risks, because they end up not really being risks at all. I have been learning to take great leaps without thinking too much as long as I know that the effort is worth it. Ok, I don't think anyone is gonna get this but hmm...it makes sense to me.

Ok so the past two days have been crazily filled with filming. I can't believe my weekend was gone just like that - but huuuuge thanks to all the cast and my group mates who were really co-operative and all! Denis for driving us everyone and even back home and Sk for sponsoring so much of our food and stuff, plus Julia for being camera woman most of the time. And thanks so much Nitish for responding to my last minute plea for an actor!!!! You're the best.

Had my final MTV dance class today too and we finally recorded Replay buttttt I totally screwed my second tape I swear my legs trip over themselves. :( And the weather was hot again so I was sweating like some pig.

Plan for tomorrow: Work my ass off on assignments.

Happy news: SHINee is releasing their teaser on July 6 and the song and MV on the 8 and 9 respectively!

Goodnight people, shall fill my blog with pictures soon!

P/S: Anyone else think this year has been shitty so far? Half the year has gone by and all I have accomplished is...um nothing. The best part of 2010 is definitely the coming of more Kpop artistes though. Keep it coming! ^^

Everyone's favourite cartoon grows up
Saturday, June 12, 2010 @ 12:01 AM

Every girl has a favourite childhood toy. Most girls grow up with Barbies.

I, on the other hand, had a weak spot for toy horses and ponies, so I ended up with a ton of rainbow-haired My Little Ponies. Anything with a mane, four legs, a bushy tail and neighed - I liked!

So it was no surprise that I took an immediate liking to Bullseye, Woody's horse companion, when he appeared in Toy Story 2.

Photobucket

Photobucket

He isn't able to talk properly, and actually sounds like a real horse! Cute!! Plus he is Woody's faithful sidekick and even manages to help save Jesse toward the end of the movie in Toy Story 2.

Then this year comes along...

Toy Story 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AND I AM SO CRAZILY EXCITED WHY?

Because of something that is even better than a horse or a pony - it is a friggin unicorn! A unicorn called Buttercup.

Photobucket

It looks so cuddly and has heart-shaped nostrils! Instant love at first sight.

Here's its description on Facebook:

Saddle up for fun and let Buttercup lead your child away on a magical adventure! This cuddly unicorn features velvety-soft, snow-colored fur with sparkly gold and pink accents. He sports a signature mythical golden horn and a fun-to-comb mane and tail. Buttercup’s durable plastic eyes are both charming and scratch-resistant. Hypo-allergenic. Ages 3 and up.

Sounds like an advert for the next best selling toy plushie don't ya think? I'm gonna get a Buttercup plushie if it hits the stores I swear. I'm sorry Bullseye but Buttercup looks like every girl's ideal stuffed animal. :( Still love you though.

Ok but the sad part is...there was absolute NO Buttercup appearing in the TS3 trailer at all! But it was still pretty awesome, my favourite scene was when Ken from Sunnyside met Barbie.

Photobucket

Which was a completely...bimbotic moment. Not even for Barbie, but for Ken. HAHAHAH he is every bit as much of a himbo as I've always imagined him to be. Can't wait to watch the actual movie and catch them in action!

Down with the flu
Tuesday, June 08, 2010 @ 10:44 PM

Sick. So very sick. 8(

The weather was amazingly perfect today. Woke up to a grey sky and cool weather, then it started raining shortly after. It didn't pour, the rain was just right. The kind of temperature that was great for sleeping in.

But alas, I somehow managed to fall sick sometime throughout the day. And right now I have decided that it would be best to just curl up in bed and sleep for the next 3 years.

Have a good week, all!

Living in the Moment
Monday, June 07, 2010 @ 12:50 AM

I am in a state right now where I don't necessarily feel sad or happy, but just basically used to the life that I am living. I do not know when it will be thwarted or when I will start to feel strongly again but right now, I am contented to be this way. It's the first official week of the holidays and I am currently trying to kickstart my mode for doing assignments (Which doesn't seem to be working out too brilliantly)...

Honestly, CMM has been a lot more fun this semester but it is definitely harder to score this time. Considering the fact I did averagely for year 1 and my only A was in my CDS, I was hoping to improve tremendously this time but hmm looks like it isn't gonna happen unless both creativity and smarts kick in at the same time! Tsk where have my brains gone?

Managed to spend a relatively quiet Sunday with dance (We finished the choreo today and managed to stuff in some practice time. Just 6 of us in class today and we all deduced it was from everyone going to chase Suju at the airport!!), some sisterly time and then an impromptu meeting with Cher to grow fat = stuff ourselves with KFC. I always feel comforted meeting her to catch up because our friendship one constant I hope will never ever change.

And gah it's been so long since I've logged into Photobucket that I forgot my password for a minute.

Btw it really sucks that it's currently the GSS and I am too broke to shop. :( Plus I know where all my money is spent on - food and transport! The ultimate evil. Can't wait till my pay comes in. Or maybe I should live on bread. Not even with butter cos it'll make me grow fat hehehe.

Anyway, it is a Monday again and it's back to school for me tomorrow to work on my audio assignment. I've come up with an idea but now I think it is gonna be hard to pull off. Mich, please save me tomorrow!

Gonna curl up in bed soon and dream of only great things.

XOXO

P/S It really kills me that I couldn't see Suju while they are here so nobody mention them to me or die!!!!!!!!!!! :(

Happiness

Lately, I slowed down and thought about the people and things around me and I realised how much unhappiness fills so many of us. From financial problems to family problems to relationship problems - they are never ending. But it makes me kind of disheartened because we are all young, we have nothing to fear, nothing to hold us back and we are in the prime of our lives - a time where we shouldn't wallow in heartache and misery but embrace what we have right now.

Easier said than done. But I guess sometimes, all we need is to step out of our own shoes, take a backseat and look at the big picture. What have we got to lose, really? What have we got to lose?

Anyway, spent the last night over at Keith's watching chick flicks. It was awesome, thanks a bunch bunny. I feel so zen when I'm at your place. Except I came home with a really bad throat and I don't understand why.

So the holidays have apparently kicked in but there's a lot of work to do. Hmm what's new?
