Despite not getting to study with Fiona like I initially said I would (I rather meet you to shop and have fun honestly), I did get my fair share of companionship with study buddies in the form of these two.
The second day was when Ter conveniently ditched us and then tried to pull some stunts on us afterward which failed.
By text:
Ter: Eh where are you guys.
Me: At Nex? Where are you?
Ter: Watching y'all scared or not!
Me: Zz we're leaving soon don't come find us.
Ter: How you going home?
Me: Errr bus why ask us weird questions you were with us yesterday.
*5 min later after we left*
Ter: Cos I'm at Nex.
Zz. He fails at life.
Anyway, last weekend my mum's friend treated all of us to a buffet dinner at Let's Sweets, a small Japanese eatery at Junction 8. They've another outlet at Plaza Singapura I think, and probably other places too.
They actually specialise in more desserts than anything but the food was yummy! Loads of mini pizzas and yummy Japanese curry.
Dimsum T________T
About...18 per pax? Cheaper during lunch. I still prefer Westernised desserts compared to Jap ones because they're yummier. But the Japanese pwns in their presentation!
Anyhow...one paper down and one to go! Cannot describe the exhilarating feeling of stepping out of the exam room clutching that damned question paper and knowing that well - it's all over. Couldn't bring myself to study for Monday's paper yet so today was well spent catching up with friends and getting some well-deserved sleep.
Freedom within reach

Honestly, I have no idea how I am gonna ace the exam on Friday. Or am I? Should I nap and wake up to get to it again? Ughhh the next 1 week is gonna be exasperating to get through, but we'll get through it anyhow. Just like we always do.
Still. One more day to study for CCC properly. I can do this! Then...dimsum with Jean? Hehe. Hope you are feeling better girl!
Also......I am going on a trip. Bye guys!

/Dream High Analysis
Happiness is dancing in me because Dream High just had its best ep yet. I am glad that this drama, despite being idol-filled (Whether they are the more popular idols like Suzy, Eunjung and Taecyeon or the smaller ones like Joo) it does not just focus on the romantic relationships between the characters just like other K drama. Plus it gives the inner film and drama critic in me so many points to discuss about!
Right from the start it's amazing how the important parts of the story were planned (The K pendant rotation, giving equal opportunities for viewers to guess who K is gonna be) and this adds substance to the drama, pulling it out of the leagues of other teeny bopper dramas although it's yet another 16 episode show. I like how the rotation of K has the symbolism of tying the 4 leads together and giving each of them the boost they need. Especially who the pendant came from.
Also, it's really awesome how the characters are given time to build up and have their own moment in the spotlight. Baekhee could have easily just turned over a new leaf and become a happy-go-lucky supporting character but she's still fighting for a chance in the spotlight. Likewise, Jin Guk led us into believing he was the one for Hyemi due to his character's buildup (With the kiss, attention over his dispute with his dad and debut into the industry with much difficulty) while Sam Dong was merely being a supporting good guy who doesn't get the girl. But he did!
I'm glad Dream High breaks stereotypes and honestly, this drama gives me hope that future K dramas will have unexpected twists.
Ok, Bae Yong Jun and JYP deserve to produce more dramas indeed. (Y)
Watching Dream High then watching this...is a total mindblowing experience.
Let's Sweets
Friday, February 18, 2011 @ 2:58 AM
It's officially the end of CNY and my sister, mum and Aunt Joanna ended it by visiting Let's Sweets at Bishan Junction 8.
Which I will blog about again hahaha. Plus, I cut my hair! No more looong fringe.
So...today's gonna be my last day of my junior year. Cliche as it sounds, it really does seem as though yesterday was day 1 of CMM for me. Before I stepped in all I wanted to do was write but now that I think about it...Whoa. Just whoa. I have finished modules in television and broadcast, know how to work a radio console, have meagre Adobe skills...
TP has been awesome so far, and I can't wait to return after internship and make the best possible memories ever before we all graduate. I think I have screwed up my GPA quite significantly with all the multimedia and audio production subjects...but I'm still praying everything's gonna be alright at the end. ^^
That said, I'm really glad that I got accepted into SPH magazines. It's truly a blessing and I am happy that the day I have been envisioning looms closer, albeit the whole idea of being in a strange new environment. Still, I can't wait to see what is up ahead!
Cheers xx
D90 babeee!

Finally, a proper camera in the house. And not just any camera but the Nikon D90!!! Ok mostly cos my sister bugged for it (Lord knows why actually!!) and cos my mum wants me to take better macro shots for her.
But this is so exciting!! I really wanna go on a night shoot now. Who's with me!!
P/S Done with 3 major deadlines this week and I've never been happier to submit a project before. Thank you SL for doing like 98.9% of MEP. Shafiq and I are forever in your debt!!
P/P/S I'M GETTING FATTER BY THE DAY HAHAHA TIME FOR A REAL DIET.
Dream High Obsession
Wednesday, February 09, 2011 @ 12:29 AM
The only reasons I watch Dream High are because of:
Kim Soo Hyun, Bae Suzy, IU and Wooyoung! I still don't like Taec...
And I really need to find a Sam Dong of my own. So yeah the goofy, loveable and immensely talented sidekicks always get kicked aside by the girl so why don't they come to me??? And why aren't I meeting guys like that!?
And ep 10 was so sad! Sigh Korean dramas. Back to reality tomorrow. Final presentation for radio! Wish me luck!
One day at a time
Sunday, February 06, 2011 @ 9:28 PM
I just pray that everything is gonna go right from now on.
CNY Post!
@ 9:24 PM
Second day of Chu Er is over! And here is an influx of happy pictures from day 1 and 2:
Day 1 afternoon @ Ben's place!
Measly amount of photos cos most of them are with my sis.
Day 1 night @ Uncle Harris' place
Sister's attempt at a CU shot.
2nd Day @ Brenda's house!
Met Mich before going at TM to stuff ourselves with Macs. Hahaha we are such fat people.
Too cute!
"I can't Breatheee"
Brenda's gorgeous yard!!!! After renovation it looks like a mini resort. Sigh we can totally chill there more often.
Yu Sheng!
And more from Brenda's cam!
Just gonna pretend this is my house from now on! This bar thingum outside in the yard which leads to the kitchen inside. Can totally sit here and eat and chill.
SL, Mel and Keith - you guys missed out!
This CNY wasn't an elaborate affair but it was heartwarming nonetheless. It was good to see faces I haven't seen all year round and also to celebrate with friends. And the ang baos!! Happiness engulfs me hehe.
So it's back to reality tomorrow with multicam prep, CCC presentation, radio group assessment and basic sub ed? Sounds enticing.
I resolve to go back to CJ this month and also quit eating all the leftover CNY food. Till then!!

Cos I'm basically like, a Rockstar?
Hi all,
I'm full of misfits and misgivings. I am whimisical, a big dreamer, and a sucker for all things romantic.
Currently studying in Temasek Poly, Communications & Media Management. I love good writing, have a penchant for music and clumsy dancing, good musicals and all that jazz. And I also have a soft spot for cats.
